Dia.Lo.Gue is an art space designed by Mr. Andra Matin, one of Indonesia's most talked about (in a positive way of course!) and demanded architects. We made a visit there last weekend which gave us the chance to hang out whilst enjoying delicious food and browsing the various art pieces exhibited which you really don't want to get us started with.

Yes, although an art space, you could also eat here. Dia.Lo.Gue's cafe is a great place to catch up with your friends as you sip coffee (or other drinks), and devour tasty snacks served straight from the kitchen. With the atmosphere it offers, a good time is almost guaranteed!

For all you art lovers, don't hesitate to come. Drown in the magnificence of the various artworks on display that range from paintings, sculptures, videos, etc, whilst indulging in the beauty of its architecture.

Secure a visit on your next weekend or free day and see if it could be your go to spot. Dia.Lo.Gue Artspace is located in Jl. Kemang Selatan 99A, Jakarta 12730.

Like, happy 17th Ditra! Old enough to know better, young enough not to care.

Last 13th of February, Ditra turned seventeen. Congrats Dit!
The celebration was held the following week and we all made time to attend, dressing up the way we usually dress ourselves for chill evening occasions. We hope to inspire you readers for when you are about to go out and think, "Hmm, what should I wear today?", as there is a different style carried by each Khasilla girl.

Anyhow, back to seventeen. It seems that being this age is a big deal for teenagers these days--or has this been for forever? While there is the common sweet sixteen going around, our environment seem to be more indulged in sweet seventeen. To say the least, it's the perfect age-- as has been mentioned above, old enough to know better, young enough to not care. It's basically the 'golden age' for teenagers! You could say, "I'm already seventeen", as you have your ID, driver's license, and such, but you could also say, "I'm only seventeen" if you get in trouble.* With lots of time to explore, since you're young, the age is just perfect. The only problem is, if you mess up too much, it might just damage your whole future... Whoops!

So for all you people turning seventeen, have fun, enjoy, and explore, but remember to take care and be sure that you're not just gold now, but in the future, you will always stay gold.
*This is a joke and we are not encouraging this. Stay safe!!!

Good Hair Days

The entrance of Rob Peetoom Hairspa Bali
Lips (Chanel) | Skin (Sephora) | Eyebrows (Anastasia) | Eyelashes (Kanebo) | Bronzer/Highlighter (NYC/MAC)

So, hey guys! Last December, after a few, long considerations I finally decided to dye my hair (for the first time). So exciting!!!! I'm not even kidding. As I'm super scared of someone screwing up my hair, I decided to look for the best, or at least one of the best salons that would colour my hair to perfection (or to the extent of it) and won't cripple my wallet entirely. I stumbled across Rob Peetoom Hairspa Bali, which was like, great, as I was planning on spending my holidays there anyway. The salon's exterior & interior are both super pretty and minimalistic and exudes that modern bali vibe. It's located in Petitenget road which is in Seminyak and across the delicious Sardines restaurant. I decided to dye my hair Flamboyage or better known as a "subtle ombré" so I wouldn't get called out by the school. After a few short hours of dyeing my hair different shades of blonde, adding toner and bleaching it, my hair's done and I love it. Totally recommend getting your hair dyed or whatever here, the service is super good and they didn't even give a surcharge for long hair/adding products onto it as well!

Nusa Dua

9.1.15

I got a henna tattoo in the Bali Collection in Nusa Dua like, a day ago

Lace Top (New Look) | Sunglasses (Topshop) | Cardigan (Forever 21) | Shorts (Bershka) | Gladiator Sandals (Zara)

My recent trip to Bali was not my first visit to the beautiful Indonesian island, and certainly not the last. It was refreshing to go to Bali to focus on the simple things, like the sun, sea and well-being. I traveled in between the Westin and the St. Regis which are both located in Nusa Dua, on the Eastern side of Bali, meaning it is quiet enough to hear the waves from your room and the perfect spot to see the sun rising over the horizon every morning.

In this photo, I'm in the St. Regis Bali which, by the way, has like, the best coconut ice cream ever. I know that it's pretty strange that I'm wearing a cardigan on the beach but having my arms sunburnt off kinda left me no choice to tote it around my shoulders the whole day. Other than that, I'm wearing something really comfortable that I can lounge around under the sun in- cotton twill shorts and a lace camisole paired with gold gladiators and sunglasses from Topshop that I bought the day before.

Happy New Year!

It has already been established that there is no winter in Indonesia. When international retailers start packing their stores with winter items, is there any use of those garments to us staying in the country? Absolutely not.

However, we do have an "alternative" cold season. From the last, maybe 2 months of 2014 all the way to the first few months of the new year, it's rainy season! Although those super thick winter coats are still not of any use, sweaters, socks, raincoats, hats, umbrellas, etc etc are definitely a must have!! Here's how we styled ourselves--indoors--in this year's, what we'd like to call it (and what the band The Neighbourhood called) Sweater Weather!

Thursday

20.12.14

Hello everyone! This is probably a re-introductory post on our blog as we've been on hiatus for soo long and we're awfully sorry about that! We've been so caught up with starting up high school that we lost track of updating Khasilla, so to restart everything we decided to post a beauty shoot- something we've never really done before- showcasing our favourite looks to wear on a weekend (a little ironic due to the title, i know). Ps. another girl is joining our blog soon! Hint: Her name is Kheya.

How to: Style the Plain White Tee

24.7.14

The ultimate wardrobe staple, the plain white tee. Airy and light for the summer and still perfect for layering during the colder days. It may not have the same level of hype as designer labels or the latest trend, but we swear by the plain white tee. And since summer's here to stay all year in Indonesia, we're depending on this sheer beauty to move us along on the hotter days.
Here's 4 different ways to style a plain white tee (and probably, how we would wear it too)!
Bonus: These outfits are so simple, you probably have everything in your wardrobe already

From top left to right: Hana, Kyrena, Ditra, Rana.
